Mr. Transmission of Louisville, KY, is currently owned and operated by George Kok Jr. George began his career in the automotive industry back in 1966 and has over 50 years of experience under his belt. George served in the Army from 1969 through 1973, working mainly on Chinook Helicopters as a hydraulic system instructor and supervisor.
George has been with Mr. Transmission now for over 40 years. He chose to join the Mr. Transmission organization because of how great the opportunities were for advancement and challenge. He has found that he has ample amount of support from the corporate staff members and has always been able to receive help when needed. He also loves that the Mr. Transmission name is trusted among many households for when they need help with their vehicles.
George has proudly been married to his wonderful wife, Ellen, for over 37 years. They have two sons together, one of which is currently serving in the Marines. They also have one grandson whom they love spending time with. Today, George and his shop manager Danny Boehnlein continue to run the shop with pride and are happy that they can serve the Louisville community with reliable and trustworthy auto care.
