HORRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS, if you can call it a business. TAKE THEM TO COURT..Even if you lose it will build up a paper trail so the JUDGE will see there face and start to BELIEVE the people of their accusations!!! The (Baxter Ave.) location is a joke. They lied to me to get my vehicle in their shop from another shop. They told me that the inspections where free if I got it toed in due to my car not being able to move. Then the Manager, Mike, said they will go in to repair my transmission and it will cost $750 plus any additional parts they find they need. Also stating that $750 will include labor and everything else. The Manager, Mike, stated that. Which I thought that was extremely cheap, but thought since they were experts they could fine a way to go in there and replace parts without having to do to much. Then the next day they call me back and tell me that they couldn't repair the transmission and needs a new one. Told them I didn't want them to work on car found someone cheaper. Now, out of no where I owe them $750 for an inspection that was suppose to be free. When I went up there they lowered it to $375 because I quote " Ohh I thought we towed it in so were going to take off half of the inspection cost since we didn't tow in your car." I was like what??? So now I guess I'm going to have to sue them because that's not right for them to be so deceptive and bold face lie!! Most horrible experience I've every had. It's a shameful place of business. As I was leaving the guy accepted $5 for airing up this lady's tire..SMH

Went in to have my car checked out. They were very polite and figured out what I needed quickly. Seemed to be busy but I had fast service. Definitely found my go to garage!

I was told by the GMC dealer that I would need to pay $4000 plus to replace my transmission in my 2010 Denali. I was referred by a friend to have Mr Transmission look at it and they rebuilt it better than new for nearly half what the dealer wanted and they gave me a two year warranty. Their service was very professional and they had my truck back to me in just three days where the dealer said it could take a week and a half or longer. While there they also replaced my radiator, water pump, and belts only after showing me the crack in the radiator, the leak in the water pump and how badly worn the belts were. I cant say enough about how well they took care of my vehicle

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! I had a HORRIBLE and UNFORGETTABLE experience with this place. I would suggest yo take your car somewhere else or get a SECOND opinion! BEWARE of the FREE inspection advertisement and the 100-200.00 off MAJOR transmission work advertisement. Let me also say this. You may never know if REAL transmission work was done on your car unless you either ask for the OLD parts back OR you have the car taken apart by someone else and check for NEW parts that were installed. The second, can be very costly! Mr. transmission knows this. Beware people. I spent 3000.00 and my car wasn't fixed. SUE THEM!

These guys are the best! I have a Honda Odyssey and they have a notoriously terrible transmission (who knew?). The folks at the Baxter Ave Mr Transmision had to rebuild the thing 3 times to get it to work properly (all on their dime, and they were the ones who decided to go through the 2nd and 3rd rebuild before I ever got the car back). They did all that work and still stuck to their original quote. It's over a year later and I am still very happy with their work. Didn't know you could get service like this anymore. Thanks!

I took my Nissan Sentra 2010 to get a new transmittion and it cost me a fortune. On top of that I paid a warrenty fee ouch! The people were nice and helpful hungry for buisness but What I didnt like was that I had to call to check if my car was ready. When they told me it was I went to pick up my car and I drove it for about 2 blocks when it over heated, it did not release any smoke I just notice it on the therm on the dash. When they installed my Transmittion they did not place plenty of water and coolant, If i hadnt notice i could have ruined my car! But luckly I did so I took it back and it stayed there for another night Total of 4 days. When I picked it up it was ready like new. I driven my car to Florida and back with no problems so very pleased with the work and I have no problems with my car anymore.

I was on a road trip from DC to Oklahoma, so Kentucky was my halfway point. My "Check Engine" light went on, which is very alarming to a lone traveler. I was referred to Mr. Transmission by Firestone since it was something too complicated for them. The guys at Mr. Transmission were so nice and accommodating. They took my car in immediately and found out what the problem was and even cleaned my battery among other maintenance duties. They admitted the problem would take several hours to fix, but understood I had to get on the road ASAP. They sent me on my way knowing I will be able to make the next 9 hours of driving and giving me great advice on how I need to fix my transmission when I get home. This helped me regain my confidence. They also told me that I can contact them at any hour if I got into any car trouble. They did all this at NO CHARGE. I've obviously made it home safely and now know exactly what I need to do for my car. They are genuine and actually want to help people, not take their money. I highly recommend this place, they really know what they are doing.

Took my car to another repair place and was told it needed a whole new transmission. Friend told me to get a 2nd opinion. I took it this location thats closer to my home and come to find out, its a sensor. Saved me a lot of money and my car runs a lot better. Havent had any problems since. I do trust these guys at this location. Also I like that its locally owned. I appreciate what they did for me and their honesty. Felt like the other place just wanted my money for a whole new transmission. Tall dark hair guy was very helpful and appreciate him being honest with us. Speak to him, he treated us great!
